The General Meeting of intacs e.V. was held during the SPICE days in Stuttgart. Peter Bölter, president of intacs reported the successful progress of the scheme in the world. Main results asire:
- Availability of syllabi for both, provisional and competent assessor
- Availability of domain specific courses for all qualifications
- International availability of courses and exams in German, English, Japanese and Corean.
The Training Providers and Certification Bodies have reported significant reduction of volume in 2009 due to economic reasons. All parties are optimistic looking forward to the development in 2010.
intacs president presented the impact of the SPICE / ISO/IEC15504 revision including an outlook to extensions of the scheme to include IT-Service Management, System Development and Organisation Maturity Model.
Finally the new Executive Board for the next two years was elected. Peter Bölter, Ludger Meyer and Gerd Grest were confirmed. Jerzy A. Kowalczuk was elected as a new member of the board. Klaus Dehmel could not continue his work in intacs due to personal reasons. We would like to take the opportunity to thank him for his contribution and successful participation. He will stay a sponsor of intacs. |

This web site has been developed for you. It is based on open source standard software, some features are set. But we together can work on the content. The web site architecture allows registered users to add and maintain information to the platform. Be aware, there is no company doing work on this web site. We all are the makers of intacs.info. The International Spice Days 2009 were held in Stuttgart from June, 22nd to 24th with great success and with more then 190 conference participants! Conference Chair in 2009 was Hans-Jürgen Kugler, Adjunct Professor at the University of Limerick, Lero – the Irish Software Engineering Research Centre: “This year’s conference is proved that SPICE is effective in application. Globalization, specialization in application domains and industrialization are keywords that mark the rapid development in the field of software-based systems. Will SPICE be able to keep up this pace and help the users transform the threats and risks of this development into solutions?" During conference this question was discussed intensive and then clearly answered with „Yes it can"!

Benefits for registered users?
Your data is safe ! It is used only to protect restricted or confidential intacs data from misusage. All email adresses will be stored encrypted to protect you from SPAM.
Registered users have the following advantages:
- Access to the intacs Ticketing system
- Access to the full content of Community Links, including list of certified Assessors, certified Instructors, and accredited Training Providers
- Access to documents and forms intacs Downloads
- Certified assessors can publish their contact data.
- Organizations that want to have assessments performed can find all certified Assessors and contact information on intacs.info
- Registered Users being intacs certified assessors or having recognized experiences in the fiield of SPICE based assessments are invited to become an author. Authors can supply own articles. Please don't hesitate to contact us after registration, if you like to become an author for intacs.
