New business opportunity for intacs certified Assessors: Test SPICE
SQS is launching Test SPICE as a summary of nearly 30 years and 1500 consultants testing experiance. In the 1st step, the PRM (1st draft) is published for discussion. The model is for free trial under the agreement, that claiming of any copyright is not permitted. We are in discussion with some suppliers of assessment tools to make the model available on their tool. The PAM and the training syllabus will be delivered in 2010.
The model is based on the structure of ISO/IREC 15504 Part 5 but clearly focused to testing issues.
The autors of the model will also launch a paper for the next SPICE Days so that the model can be discussed with the assessor community.

SPICE DAYS Information
intacs has established itself as the leading scheme in the spice world. No other scheme has by far such a level of industry acceptance as well as the number of certified assessors.
During the Spice Days 2009 Peter Bölter, president of intacs e.V. announced, that intRSA has allmost dropped their buisiness and has no visibility in the market anymore. Former intrsa assessors are invited to sign off their program and get certified in the intacs scheme. This backdoor will be left open until June 2010. Holders of third party certificates are invited to proof their competence to intacs and join the scheme as well.
This step was taken by intacs to give a clear signal to the market of the reliability and continuity. As a not for profit organisation, the main goal of intacs is to supply needed services to the members and support the community in their assessment knowledge. |

Gate4Spice now hosted on intacs.info |

We are happy to announce, that as of July 1st the Gate4Spice community is hosted on intacs.info. While the users are more than 90 % overlapping, it was a logical decision to merge the two web presentations to intacs.info. This doesn't affect the independence of Gate4Spice at all. All uptodate content was transferred to intacs.info as follows:
- Articles --> Command Menu / Gate4SPICE
- Forum Categories --> Main Menu / Forum
- Events Overview --> Community Menu / Event Calendar / List Events / Gate4SPICE
- Event booking --> Subscribe to a selected event
- Result documentation --> Downloads / Download Directory / Gate4Spice or Gate4SPICE / G4S Results
The merge helps us to save time and money for administration. The intacs.info platform is build on an open source content management system, which allows the highest level of flexibility and efficiency. Full functionality is granted to all Gate4Spice members. All users were migrated to intacs.info. If there was a matching user on the intacs site, the intacs user survived. User specific details were not migrated to avoid copyright violation.
