We are happy to announce, that as of July 1st the Gate4Spice community is hosted on intacs.info. While the users are more than 90 % overlapping, it was a logical decision to merge the two web presentations to intacs.info. This doesn't affect the independence of Gate4Spice at all. All uptodate content was transferred to intacs.info as follows:
- Articles --> Command Menu / Gate4SPICE
- Forum Categories --> Main Menu / Forum
- Events Overview --> Community Menu / Event Calendar / List Events / Gate4SPICE
- Event booking --> Subscribe to a selected event
- Result documentation --> Downloads / Download Directory / Gate4Spice or Gate4SPICE / G4S Results
The merge helps us to save time and money for administration. The intacs.info platform is build on an open source content management system, which allows the highest level of flexibility and efficiency. Full functionality is granted to all Gate4Spice members. All users were migrated to intacs.info. If there was a matching user on the intacs site, the intacs user survived. User specific details were not migrated to avoid copyright violation.

Introduction to the Assessor Guide
This page has been designed to support the different needs of intacs certified assessors and those who think about to apply for a certification. Please let us know, if you would like specific information to be added.
intacs has prepared forms to support the different processes. In general these forms are provided based on different technologies. We recommend to use the office based formats (Word or Excel) because they allow you to fill in your data on your computer and store it as well. So far you can reuse the content. The second technology is based on Acrobat Files (aka pdf). Some of these forms can be filled in online as well, but Acrobat doesn't allow you to store the content (if you don't buy an expencive license for form server). You can print these forms and fill it in manually, if you like. If you computer is not prepared to read Acrobat files, you can download the reader form the Acrobat webpage for free. All forms are maintained frequently. Don't keep personal copy, check for improved versions anytime you are reusing old forms.
The Assessor Page helps you to find information about the following steps / situations:
-
Start: How to become an intacs certified assessor
-
Collect Experiences: How to collect and report experiences to develop your assessor status
The certification process is defined and explained in the Procedure: Assessor Certification or Procedure Assessor Certification 2010. Please refer only to the procedure for definitions and regulations.

The EE Concept
When applying for (re-)certifcation as Competent or Principal Assessor with a certification body the assessor submits EE (evidence of experience with practically applying, and theorectial understanding of, ISO/IEC 15504 and Process Assessment Models. Through this the assessor proves that he keeps in touch the latest SPICE community knowledge & experience, and maintain assessment practice on a regular basis.
The EE requirements are defined by intacsTM while certification bodies independently verify that the applicant has met these requirements when applying for (re-)certification. Thereby the EE concept supports the building of confidence in assessor qualification for all interested parties.
The detailed concepts and regulations are documented in the "intacsTM Procedure for assessor certification and Concept of Experience Evidence".
In order to obtain procedures you have to register with intacs.info website as a guest and then access the download area in the Community Menue.
For 2010 the experience evidence regulations have been significantly updated. Based on a 3 years period evidence need to be collected and reported for certification. Read the updated concept for more details:
