The International Spice Days 2009 were held in Stuttgart from June, 22nd to 24th with great success and with more then 190 conference participants! Conference Chair in 2009 was Hans-Jürgen Kugler, Adjunct Professor at the University of Limerick, Lero – the Irish Software Engineering Research Centre: “This year’s conference is proved that SPICE is effective in application. Globalization, specialization in application domains and industrialization are keywords that mark the rapid development in the field of software-based systems. Will SPICE be able to keep up this pace and help the users transform the threats and risks of this development into solutions?" During conference this question was discussed intensive and then clearly answered with „Yes it can"!
