Jan 2007 iNTACS e.V. and the VDA have set up initial agreement. This includes automotive assessor certification and the VDA qualification program for certified Assessors.
Dec 2006 iNTACS e.V. and the VDA (German Association of Car Manufacturers) have signed a letter of intend. Both parties want to co-operate in the area of it process assessor qualification and performance tracking in the automotive industry.
Nov 2006 iNTACS annouces the first international SPiCE Days to be held at Frankfurt, Germany from June 18nd thru June 20th, 2007. The call for paper is in progress. See the ISQI website for more information.
Okt 2006 IDORT, Rio de Janeiro, the most valuable training institute in Brasil for management signed a letter of indent to become the iNTACS certification body for Brasil
Sep 2006 HIS (The Software Initiative of German Car Manufacturers) has officially accepted the iNTACS Certification Schema for SPICE Assessors including the three defined Qualificaiton Levels Provisional Assessor, Competent Assessor and Principal Assessor. Further on HIS has accepted the iNTACS principle that assessors need to proof their performance frequently to keep their qualification status.
GERMAN: HIS (Herstellerinitiative Software der Deutschen Automobilhersteller) akzeptiert das dreistufige Assessoren Ausbildungsschema (Provisional, Competent und Principal Assessor) der iNTACS. HIS akzeptiert, dass zur Aufrechterhaltung des Assessorenstatus regelmäßige Leistungsnachweise zu erbringen sind.
Sep 2006 The new 2007 Provisional Assessor Curriculum (Syllabus) is published. Due to the expectation of the industry to have a clearer and better organized basis for the training development, iNTACS initiated a working party to rework the complete set of curricula of the assessor scheme. The published and released version went through several steps of review of the industry and future users. All members and users of the scheme will benefit.
Aug 2006 Accreditation and Certification Bodies are now available to serve 19 countries, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Hungary, Tschech Republic, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Poland and Russia. Other countries were already served occasionally as well, i.e. Japan, China, South Corea, USA etc. Currently services are available in English and German. If you are a training provider, don't hesitate to follow the iNTACS scheme and contact iNTACS or iSQI today.
Jul 2006 iNTACS schema proudly aknowledges, that scheduled regular training courses are now available in most European Countries, in America, Africa and Asia. This has been a wonderful success in such a short time period of operation. Especially the tried and tested approach integrated in the iNTACS scheme have found wide acceptance in the industry of the world.
May 2006 iNTACS (registered association) was founded as a non-profit organisation on May 11th, 2006. 27 representatives of different companies from 15 countries signed the foundation protocol. Peter Bölter (SQS AG) was unanimously elected President of iNTACS. The Vice Presidents are Dr. Ludger Meyer (Siemens CT) and Prof. Dr. Dehua Ju (ASTI Shanghai, China). Klaus Dehmel (Delphi Grundig) has been elected to the board as well. Within the registered association iNTACS, representatives of consultancies, automotive industry, finance and supply industry come together as well as scientists and researchers. The association is based in Berlin. One of its tasks is to provide for a worldwide standardised training for SPiCE assessors. Prof. Hindel had initiated the official foundation after he had been pushing the idea of this standard training together with former representatives of the Bootstrap Institute and the SPiCE user group since 2003.
Feb 2006 The ISO Ballot on ISO/IEC 15504 Part 5 was positive, i.e. Part 5 will be published soon thru the national bodies (DIN for Germany). iNTACS decided that all trainings for iNTACS provisional assessors given after March 31, 2006 have to be compliant to the new released standard.
Jan 2006 iNTACS will be put on a legal platform. On January 19, representatives of the automotive industry organised a round table discussion at iSQI to decide on the future of iNTACS. The result of that meeting was that the official refounding of iNTACS as an independent non-profit legal entity is planned to be held in Berlin on the 21st of March, 2006. By doing this all procedures and the scheme itself will be redefined to foster the education and experience exchange of SPiCE Assessors on a world-wide basis. The redefinition of all procedures and syllabi is done by several working parties. During the abovementioned meeting five working parties were founded on the following topics: Certification Procedures, Accreditation Procedures, Quality Assurance, Syllabi, Internationalisation, and Contracts and Bylaws.
