The new intacs® training architecture is valid with the release of the new trainings for Automotive SPICE® 4.0

The new intacs® training architecture will also be applied for other PAMs.

Automotive SPICE®
Automotive SPICE® is a domain-specific adaption of the International Standard ISO/IEC 330xx (SPICE). The purpose of Automotive SPICE® is the assessment of process capability. It is mainly used to evaluate the development processes of automotive suppliers for software-based systems. Within the Process Expert and Provisional Assessor training the VDA Guideline topics will be included.
Training Title Certification Body Road Map
Automotive SPICE® Upgrade Training
Changes from PAM 3.1 to PAM 4.0 including VDA Guidelines 2.0. This training will be mandatory for all Automotive SPICE® Lead Assessors (Competent, Principal, Instructor).		 VDA QMC Training not released yet,

Automotive SPICE® Process Expert
Become an expert for the Automotive SPICE® PAM 4.0 regarding the content of the model to support internal projects and improvement programs to be successful in development and assessments.		 VDA QMC Training not released yet,

Automotive SPICE® Provisional Assessor
Understanding the Automotive SPICE® v4.0 PAM, its processes and Guideline. Learn skills, generic practices and rating rules for becoming a Co-Assessor in official Automotive SPICE® assessment.		 VDA QMC Training for PAM 3.1 available.
Update for PAM 4.0 planned for October 2024.
Automotive SPICE® Competent Assessor
Learn the skills for leading official Automotive SPICE® assessments and train new assessors in performing assessments. Exchange and deepen your knowledge about the PAM and the assessment process.		 VDA QMC Training for PAM 3.1 available.
Update for PAM 4.0 planned for January 2025.
Automotive SPICE® VDA Guidelines Training
Learn to understand and use the VDA Guideline 1.0 in official Automotive SPICE® assessments.		 VDA QMC Training for PAM 3.1 available.
Will be obsolete with PAM 4.0.
Hardware Engineering SPICE
Hardware Engineering SPICE supports the evaluation of hardware development.		 ECQA / VDA QMC Training available.

Machine Learning SPICE
Machine Learning SPICE supports the evaluation of machine learning development.		 VDA QMC Training not released yet,
planned for August 2024.
Cybersecurity SPICE
Cybersecurity SPICE supports the evaluation of cybersecurity development.		 VDA QMC Training available.

Potential Analysis SPICE
The purpose is to get familiar with the Potential Analysis PAM to be used by Automotive SPICE assessors for evaluation of potential suppliers before project start.		 VDA QMC Training not released yet,

Mechanical Engineering SPICE
The purpose is to support the mechanical development which is aligned with Automotive SPICE® 3.1 and other established standards in the industry.		 ECQA Training available.

Agile SPICE®
Agile SPICE® shows a set of experiences collected in agile projects and being assessed following the Automotive SPICE® PAM.		 ECQA Training available.
Data Management SPICE
Data Management is the set of all methodological, conceptual, organizational, technical measures and procedures for handling the resource "data“, with the aim of introducing them into business processes with their maximum potential for use.		 ECQA Training available.
SPICE for IT-Services
The purpose is to provide a SPICE based Process Assessment Model for the Domain “IT Service Management”.		 ECQA Training available.
Test SPICE
Test SPICE is a strong tool if you need to focus your assessment to the testing area.		 ECQA Training available.
Organization SPICE
The purpose is to define a procedure for maturity level assessments including procedure for trustworthy assessments with any kind of certificate.		 ECQA No Training available,

Software Automation SPICE
The aim of this Working Group is to establish a process reference model as SPICE Add-on that allows to determine the capability level of the Automation process for a software development project.		 ECQA No Training available,

intacs® Certification Scheme

 

The intacs® scheme is an independent and legally registered nonprofit organization with open and transparent operations in an honorary capacity and a global and multilingual presence.


The mission is to ensure high-quality assessor qualification in the worldwide community for process assessments according to ISO/IEC 33xxx. Also, the latest development in standards, e.g., ISO/IEC 33xxx, will be reflected in training and guidelines for the assessors.

Due to the need to improve assessment performance, to reduce variations in the quality of assessment results, and to make results more comparable, intacs® Certification Scheme was set up in 2006 in response to requests from industry and international ISO/IEC 33xxx experts. The certification scheme is the property of iNTACS e.V..


To reach these goals, intacs®

  • sets training and certification standards for ISO/IEC 33xxx assessors
  • sets standards for maintaining assessor competence
  • promotes assessment models, extentions and community interactions

intacs® is the scheme accepted by the automotive industry and the VDA-QMC (operating and maintaining the process requirements for car manufacturers and n-tier suppliers).
