PURPOSE
Creation of a process model for Software Automation that is aligned with ISO/IEC 15504:2012.
MOTIVATION
In SW development and for all supporting processes SW Automation plays an increasing role.
Examples for SW Automation are: Test Automation (unit, integration, system test), Continuous Deployment and Continuous Integration, configuration management etc. So far, no standard exists to assess, how much is automated and how mature the SW Automation is. With the SW Automation Reference Model, it is intended to close this gap.
DELIVERABLES
- Pilot the draft model - we are actively looking for organizations interested in piloting
- Create a SW Automation SPICE PAM
- Creation of standard training material and exams
