Main Menue on intacs.info redesigned

Dear community members,

based on feedback and suggestions from you intacs has restructured the information in the Main Menue (top left). By means of direct sub-menues we now offer clear information about what intacs is and how the scheme works, provide details specific to an assessor's perspective, and give explanation for all present working parties.

We hope that the information can now be found in a much more intuitive way.

Workshop Exchanging Experiences across Assessment Models

Workshop Community: SPICE Assessors - Exchanging Experiences across Assessment Models

Assessors from different domains (aerospace, automotive, IT services, financial standards, improvability, etc.) meet and exchange experiences about how to implement. The idea is to think about cross-fertilizing the use of these models. The SPICE Assessor workshop takes place at the EuroSPI2 Conference, 27.6.2011, 9.00 - 17.00 at the Roskilde University, Denmark.

new intacs Regional Representative appointed: Canada

Dear community members,

wer are happy to announce that Ms. Winifred Menezes has agreed to take the role as intacs Regional Representative for Canada. This means that she now acts as the "bidirectional" point of contact and interface for intacs, the certification bodies and teh Canadian community members. Below please find a short bib of Winifred.

Bib of Winifred Menezes:

Ms. Winifred Menezes started her professional life as a software developer and worked her way up to designer, systems analyst, project manager and process/methodology expert.  This background served her well when she worked with the Software CMM doing so called gap analysis and assessments using an organization proprietary method. She found that she had more credibility among software developers and their managers.

She started and led a country wide software process improvement initiative in a large industrial organization in Sweden. After a break working as a director at Research in Motion (makers of the BlackBerry) she returned to process improvement. Ms. Menezes is now a certified high maturity lead appraiser as well as a certified instructor and lead appraiser for all 3 CMMI constellations.

Since 2006, she has led over 10 SCAMPI As and Bs, some of which have used the continuous representation of the model, and participated as a team member in several others. These assessments have been conducted in various industrial sectors: telecommunications, finance, IT, defence, government, automotive and electrical engineering, among others, in Europe, Asia and the North America, so Winifred is used to working with different cultures.
Her growing experiences with Automotive SPICE and and participation in the Enterprise SPICE initiative led her to becoming an intacs Competent Assessor and was welcomed as the Canadian intacs Regional Representative by the intacs advisory and executive boards.
